Steelcase Leap & Gesture is my final consideration, i'm currently asking ZenPro how much is it to have 3D Knit material for upholstery while the rest are default. I'm not aware there are other companies that i can inquire pricing about.

Sorry to answer on your behalf, Leon! He did Ebibca. The reason that he did Ebibca was that ELY claimed that it was the sole distributor of Steelcase Chairs in Malaysia, but revelations later surfaced that Ebibca was another distributor of these chairs, which ELY later maintained was an agent selling these chairs and that I demonstrated that, if ELY is claiming to be the exclusive seller of Steelcase chairs in Malaysia, logically falsifies that claim though it may not do so if ELY is simply claiming to be the exclusive *distributor*.

Anyway, on the basis of ethical considerations and his personal feeling, Leon then decided to conclude with Ebibca instead, which is an entirely fair and valid decision to make, and that some of you may share.

Anyway, we’re also approaching Ebibca now in the discussion about the group buy.

If you do want a chair now from ELY, I can get you a RM100 discount on the purchase (Leap or Gesture) or RM50 (Think or Series2); we are also discussing tiered pricing with ELY at the moment, though that discussion is in progress.

bought 2nd hand ELY Trendy for less than RM400

overall very confortable. just that armrest is 2D. would be perfect if can rotate the armrest..others are adjustable (headrest/lumbar support/seat base/armrest height&front back etc)

when i click on "Find a Dealer" at https://www.steelcase.com/asia-en/ i can only see ZenPro as Authorized Dealer, EBIBCA is not in it.

So is EBIBCA an authorized dealer or a reseller?
also, does EBIBCA serve customised order?

I can provide some insight onto this as I actually spoke with EBIBCA earlier, though I still don't exactly know the capital T truth.
In the course of an hour and a half call, EBIBCA mentioned to me that they're not *listed* as an "official" dealer and mentioned oversight on the part of the people who maintain the site but also declared that they are not after title/position and also mentioned they were selling Steelcase before ZenPro/ELY; ZenPro/ELY when I followed up on Leon's issue told me that EBIBCA is only an agent. EBIBCA in one of the most unique calls I've experienced on the planet explained that they are "not 100% under ZenPro" and frankly I'm still a bit lost here about exactly how they are related it is a complicated relationship, but am aware that they all do respond to their principal (Steelcase).

Broadly speaking, EBIBCA is meant to cover the North, and ELY is to cover the South, and they are at peace and in an equilibrium (are they?). You can try to figure out the truth if you want to become an investigative journalist, but for me I guess it'll be more of a... Oh if you find out by accident that's cool let's not ask any further type thing LOL.

I think indent order is possible, but takes a while and probably there won't be discounts - for Leap they do have black in stock with headrest; feel free to join the group chat here:

I think, we should stop this Ebibca and ELY discussion. To me it's not relevant and can get polarizing and basically he say, she say. facts of the matter is Ebibca and ELY are listed in Steelcase official website. https://www.steelcase.com/countries/malaysia/

Most important to us, is the price and support by each company. Once we buy from either one, we are covered by Steelcase(i hope..hahaha)

Why not let others shed some light of personal encounters to both parties? Even if the feedbacks are biased, it's still one version of story that we can judge ourselves whether which side we are taking. If both are bad, we just have to steer away from buying steelcase brands. 12 years is a long time and a "long relationship: to maintain.

Haha fair! Honestly, ELY actually sent one of their partners (L from ELY) over to meet me and they've been wonderful as well. I have positive experiences with both companies, but it doesn't mean that I'll just straight away say both are wonderful they can do no wrong. All told though, I do agree that price and support by the company is the most important matter ^^

Hope more people join the group buy so there's the option of corporate rate! Or the quote unquote "youtuber rate" comes to pass LOL

Hello, I am looking for some recommendations as the frame of my Ikea Markus Chair recently broke (the chair is now slanting towards one side) and I don't have the original receipt to claim guarantee, so here I am in need of a new chair. Want to try out something different as I personally do not like the arm rest on the Markus.

Looking for something that can be bought via Shopee or is in Petaling Jaya area and under RM1000. Merryfair's Shopee seems to be on Vacation so that option is out. I have found this chair called ELY Trend on Shopee, anyone has any views on it?

Received my steelcase series 2 with headrest from ELY, here is my review so far. I am 170CM 68KG

->Built is solid, feel like it will never broke.
->Installation is ez like plug and play.
->4D armrest is fancy and useful.
->Comfort at the back, thanks mesh.

-> Ass is burning, not in aircon room is suck
-> Not feeling much from lumbar support. ( my first time using a chair with lumbar support, so I not dare to say good or not)
->Package is heavy, make sure you get someone to help you.
->Headrest is useless (too short for that thing to support my neck)

With only fan and without aircon, I would say little hot, but bearable.

Found a sticker underneath the seat pad, it says made in malaysia, photo a bit blur.
