I contacted this agent from Iproperty.com .my , and view a subsale kondo unit, I like it. So want to pay booking fees, he told me can bank into his company or write cheque.
I then search him in LPPEH.gov .my, and found he is not in the member section but in the negotiator section.
I saw his REN number, full name, company name, handphone number and Expiry date is 12/2020.
Is he trustable? can I go on and pay my booking fees to him or go to his office?
THanks

I know it's a bit late to reply to your concern, but hopefully this will help others who are also wondering:I then search him in LPPEH.gov .my, and found he is not in the member section but in the negotiator section.

I am also a REN and would like to inform u guys that actually we are supposed to renew every 2 years - however due to the pandemic, a lot of us are unable to sit for our CDP class which is something we are required to sit thru once in 2 years in order to renew the license. Therefore, unless a REN writes to the LPPEH personally or the agency takes the initiative, our RENtag will expire. It's not that we don't wanna renew - it's because we can't .....those with RENtag expiring 12/2020 most likely still active and awaiting LPPEH to start CDP again.
If worried, can always call the agency's landline/general line and ask if said REN is an active REN with them.
