The different between a member and a Ren ....
Member is a registered estate agent who owns the agency aka 'employer'
REN is a registered negotiator with a registered estate agent / agency aka 'employee'
All cheques for booking deposits must be made payable in the name of the AGENCY. After reading the terms in the booking form and signed, you can safely pass the cheque to the REN. On the hand, if you feel 'safer' to deal everything in the agency office, go ahead.

Totally agreed.. I normally will ask client to go our office for few reasons:
1. Better pay to my admin than me, especially if it's involving cash
2. Can immediately get a receipt for the earnest deposit paid
3. Get to know more about the agency at the same time
Thanks for the replies.
Is it ok, when his license going to expire in 12/2020 (3 days time).
One of my worries is, after the earnest deposit, he will be be responsible to anything and further steps of purchasing the property will be slow moving.
