I own a kia sorento UM diesel 2017, from a suprima 2013. A car priced near 200k . If this comes to Malaysia, will give all 7 seater suv a run for its money. Will I change to x90. No. Engine too small. I get 400 nm torque with the diesel engine. The sorento at almost 2 tons with awd system is still a better package. I will consider the x90 successor though. If they increase the engine output and awd. Changed from suprima since it was too small as my family got bigger and it got stuck in mud requiring 2 hours worth of digging to remove front wheels. Once you go diesel, it is hard to go back to petrol. Few sen more expensive than Ron 95 but get way more mileage. FC about Honda City. My suprima has worse FC.

I put an android 10 " ice system which can support 360 degree camera feed. As far as I tell, only thing which I cannot upgrade is the ADAS. not that I care about ADAS. 360 nice to have.

Will the x90 sell? Yes. It will steal buyers from xtrail, sorento, santa fe etc. Is it late to the market? Yes, like 5 years late. I plan to use my sorento until it is too expensive or hassle to maintain.

If I didn't get the sorento, will I get the x90? Let's say it comes out at 160k. Sorento around 30k higher (going by X50 x70 vs competition). Engine, awd, diesel. Sorento is still better but after sales is a problem with naza selling it for now. If there is a awd version, then yes. I will pick the x90 awd version. I no longer want to be stuck in the mud. Now driving in heavy storm, also confident.

yes, kinda hard for some1 who have tasted diesel and go back to petrol.

for your scenario is you require a AWD or 4WD as you always stuck in the mud. whereby i believe not most of the ppl experiencing.

with that kind of money you can spend on a car....very jarang those ppl will live in a place that will stuck on the mud laugh.gif

for me....im actually eyeing the cx5 diesel.

consider my travel is 99% highway.

I live in North East Malaysia. 3 months monsoon end of year. Mud can appear anywhere.
