Greetings,

I am a new Apple user and this will be the first time I use the Apple Education Store.

I plan on making my first purchase soon but the delivery timeframe is when I will be in college and living on campus. I have a few questions that I wish could be addressed before I commit to purchasing the iPad on the given delivery timeframe.

1) Is it possible for the shipment to be delivered to my college's parcel counter?

2) I plan on purchasing the iPad Air 2020, the Apple Pen Gen 2, the Smart Keyboard Folio, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max (as a gift for myself hehe). The accessories will come in the same shipment whereas the others will come in separate shipments. Does every shipment require signatures? If so, can I pre-sign or let the person-in-charge of the parcel counter sign for me?

3) What courier does Apple Malaysia use?

The only address for the parcel counter that I can provide is my college address and the delivery address has been set to Business Address.

Any other suggestions would be valuable.

Thank you in advance !

1. Why not? as long as you pay, they can send wherever you want tongue.gif jokes aside, check with your college - some of them may have different procedures, and may not accept deliveries during this pandemic.

2. With DHL, you will need to sign your parcel. They will have a gadget for you to sign using your finger (not sure what people call that haha). Not sure about other courier.

3. For my MacBook (twice), they used DHL from China. Could be different for iphones or ipads.

Cheers

1. As long your college does accept couriers from students, then should be fine but please enquire them for precise information.

2. Based on my experience, DHL and UPS doesn't require my signature when collecting my parcel.

3. So far, I received iPhone from DHL and UPS for MacBook.

Ahh, I see!

Thank you for your reply! I've checked with my college and they do allow it. May I know if it is possible for the Person-in-Charge of the parcel counter to sign the parcel on my behalf? Just in case I'm in a lecture when the deliveryman decides to make my day hehe

Thank you again !

Thank you for you reply! I've checked in with my college and they do allow parcels containing electronics to be received. Though, they said the safety of the parcel is not the college's responsibility but I haven't heard any parcels lost as of yet.

Thank you again !
