Wow! Surprising to see an Alfa thread here and nice to see Jun here as well! Haha!

Jun, got ur Alfa yet? Ditch the current ride and go Italian!  icon_rolleyes.gif

If you come and see, my Waja, Neo and Volvo are hardly used and collecting dust at home. That will let u understand the joy and addiction of driving an Alfa! It sounds great!  wink.gif

Hi Jeff, you must be a real Alfista!  rclxms.gif

You are right in saying that the sound that comes out from driving our bellas are like music. I also do not turn on my radio when driving my Alfa!

huhuhuhu of course if I could afford one I might just pop for a 156 V6

but slow la, start off with a 155.

i rarely see Alfa on our roads. what happened to the brand? no one buying?
*
in malaysia, where a persons status and class is usually determined by the type and brand of car they drive,
it is no surprise people would prefer to go for the 2 main german cars.

Also don't be surprised that the people who buy those 2 cars, only do 2 things in the car:
1) start engine
2) go.

they only need to know 1 thing, the brand that they are driving.

isn't that what the car is supposed to do?

okay sorry, actually theres hidden meaning there.
What I mean is that, people only buy a car to get from A to B.
And to get from A to B in THOSE brand means you will look superior to others.

And many people that do ride in those cars don't know half of the functions of the car.

hence, they dont appreciate that Alfa Romeos are more than just cars. That Alfa Romeos are mechanical souls .
They see that its not a popular choice among the successful people, so they turn away and get the boring black 3 series, or that silver brown C class. Why is it not popular, because these weird cars from Italy have a history of having "problems".

Imagine you are the director of your company and you still make the decision to go out and buy a problematic brand.
If investors see you in that they might lose confidence in your company.

Its all about image, especially in malaysia.
