u can uninstall it once u finished update it. your hotfix or critical updates will not be uninstall together with it.

Last time i update my "ahem" windows....then google earth cannot sign in....another time is i can't accept d agreement from adobe reader....

After i format my PC then everythings working again....so i think "ahem" windows better don update...else some software we cannot use anymore...
