Hi all, planning to paint my apartment wall with concrete effect paint.. i scroll through one of the thread and the owner remove the skim coat to exposed the bare concrete without painting it.. I need advise for DIY painting the texture paint or hire someone to remove the skim coat..

Try suzuka or Nippon momento. there are various of brand out there. but to get perfect effect of it will require a lot of skill. general worker cant do that for u

Just chisel the skim coat if u want rustic cement plaster feel. but definitely not 100%

I would have to agree with you, just chisel the skim coat to have cement feels.
