Hi,

Noticed swiss log hiring Java senior developer. Wondering how are things there in terms of work? What kind of system and the exact skill sets they
really require. Also lots of travelling?

Its quite a small company, the interview process is quite simple. You go in, do 10 MCQ question that consist of SQL questions & java. Then meet the HR guys, normal HR questions. After if you pass this you will sit for a 3 hours test (i am not sure about the questions).

Working environment looks ok, not a bad working place it seems but when I was there, one of the lady colleague was scolding one of the guy at there. I am not sure if he didn't do work or what is going on but it doesn't leave a good impression to me imo. If you are working in the customer support dept, they expect you to be on standby 24/7 to answer any customer calls if there is any including weekends. There are opportunities to travel to singapore too what they mention.

My bad, they were looking for two where one was senior position and one junior. That guy that took the initial position is a fresh grad. They're strictly looking for 3 years minimum experience.
