I think your RAM cause you cant get higher Ghz. If you want overclock, get a high performance ram.

yep, oc'ing requires high performance ram.. normal value rams can help you a little bit only..
but there are some value rams that can be oc'ed high.. all you gotta do is loosed the timing somemore.. probably put 6-6-6-18 like that..

QUOTE(minghao @ Aug 20 2007, 03:09 PM) This timing for my Corsair VS DDr400? nope, usually ValueRAM's timing comes with either 3-3-3-8 @2.5vDIMM, or 3-4-4-8 @2.6vDIMM

just use the loose timing 3-4-4-8 or 3-4-4-10 max and then use divider... (eg 2:1) then raise the HTT slowly as high as you can.. then raise the vcore by 0.01-0.02volt.. then raise HTT again.. and for the vdimm just stick to 2.5-2.6volt... or if you dare enuff 2.8vdimm... oh ya.. make sure you lower the HTT multi to 4x.. goodluck.. -edit-.. 1.65 vcore?? that's quite high mate.. Just my own experience, I used to have a pair of Corsair value DDR RAM before, but what I found out was, they are very suck in overclocking, not even go up to 205MHz for DDR400... But just wish u won't face the same problem like mine...
