HDMI 2.0 that came with PS4 pro is already sufficient, PS4 Pro doesn't support anything higher than that, save your money.

It should be backward compatible. But PS4 Pro won't support all the new features that come from HDMI 2.1.

It should work fine with 2.0 cables. Since your length is not extremely long (usually under 10m) will work fine, its all digital signal anyway.

I bought this https://shopee.com.my/UGREEN-HDMI-Cable-4K-...3440.1126658445 to use on 4k it works perfectly pn LC6500 60" 4k with mibox (Netflix 4k) biggrin.gif

Can play, it’s backward compatible, but you wont get any benefit that came with HDMI 2.1

Wait. Why it's 5.05? Now it's already version 8.03. You never update your PS4 pro?

And to answer your question. HDMI 2.0 is enough for PS4 pro. If you plan to buy PS5 and 120hz TV/monitor in future, then HDMI 2.1 it is.
