I stayed in omputeh country for 5 years, rarely see gate at most fence at chest level at the backyard for pets to run around. Front yard is usually a huge concrete patch for driveway and a green patch of grass. Almost every home has security system and their popo respond time is damn quick, and you can defend yourself by shooting the intruder. Robbery rarely happens (with occupant inside) but break in does when no one's at home in my area.

common ones are car thief i think. they really dont like to lock their car, if you go to a big parking lot like Walmart and try to open car door you can definitely open some. True story thou, left my window open when i get grocery with my bag inside, cukurr.... no one took the bag and my car.
