Hi, I'm looking for a laptop that costs around RM 2000. Is it possible to get one? Main priority is reliable(can last at least 5 years). The laptop is only used by my dad for web browsing and watching YouTube. If it is impossible to get a reliable laptop at this price. I might consider buying a desktop(main reason I consider laptop is its portability) with i3-10100 as I see its performance is good enough to last a 5 year. Thanks.

Huawei Matebook D15 Ryzen 5 3500u 8GB RAM AMD Vega 8 Integrated Graphics 512GB SSD (Storage Space) 15.6" IPS Screen (1920x1080P) - Suitable for parents who needs bigger screens Fingerprint scanner power button All metal chassis - Solid construction 2 Year Huawei Malaysia warranty
All that for RM2,500
Trust me when I say you would rather save up the extra RM500 and use it on a better built laptop for a peace of mind. Especially for your parents, getting a good product that would help improve their quality of life (instead of more headache trying to troubleshoot a cheap laptop with built quality issues). And less headache for you to deal when the laptop is fault free.

The specs looks good for its price. Is Huawei's laptop reliable enough to last long?
