It's a good thing that it went to pens, experience gaining moment for the entire team!

We got Bayern…not sure is a good draw or not.

At this stage, don't think there's such a thing as a good or a bad draw. We could beat Bayern or the other way around just as easily. Key thing is for the players to turn up & as long as they do that, anything's possible.

Easy 150m offer coming if we win Madrid

But really I still have no idea how we win with so many left backs or is EPL quality so much superior?
*
It's the latter. But the team was also on point, massively overperformed xg.

we have a much higher chance of winning champions league than the premier league.

Champions league 1% chance
Premier league 0.1% chance

Actually, player is decent. Problem is the fee which is inflated as always with Chelsea players. No idea why they agreed a £50M package when they could've been more patient to potentially fetch him for less than that later in the window seeing as he's a player only we're after. Same argument for Havertz also previously.

QUOTE(Meis @ Jul 18 2025, 03:55 AM)
So I was right

Noni is really good on run with ball which Arsenal is lack of.
His weakness is "productivity" or SCA.
He tends to fall down after the whole run or shooting (from observation; could be wrong).

Yeah, that's correct. Ultimately need a back up for Saka to share playing minutes with who's been playing non-stop since 18 YO. He's kinda like Saka minus the end-product (which Arteta & co. can work on during training) for now.

I think they improved in some areas but alsl questions remain in otbers. Cuz, on a net they didn't actually bring in way more than everyone they would have lost (at the end of the window). Also, I don't think they're as much ahead of everone else as people make it sound.

QUOTE(Walaoeh! @ Jul 30 2025, 02:19 PM)
I wouldn't worry too much about Liverpool — they didn’t truly dominate the EPL last season.
Their 84-point finish was one of the weakest performances by a Premier League champion.
In comparison, Arsenal finished with 89 points the previous season but still ended up second behind Manchester City, who had 91 points.

Salah’s performance will be crucial for Liverpool. His goal contributions alone earned the team a whopping 31 points.
Now that his contract saga is over and he has finally secured a new deal, hopefully he’ll be less motivated in the coming season.
Salah is already 34 years old, and his performance is expected to decline, then Liverpool will struggle.

I would be more worried about Guardiola's Man City.
*
Agreed. Not to mention, it was a perfect storm for them also considering our injury crisis up front to the point we had to rely on Mikel Merino as a no. 9 & City's unexpected drop off in the whole season in addition to their injury fortunes which were minimal similar to our 23/24 campaign.
