Never thought i would be on my knees for raheem sterling but here we are.. And this deal makes so much sense.

Played under pep and arteta so he knows the system well and wont have issues slotting right in.

We desperately need cover or else Saka is going to play every damn minute again. and he's still a quality player. Cant judge his stint at Chelsea (not like he even did that badly there, still 18 G/A last season)

you guys would be a fool to write him off, just like some of you did to Kai.

You would want Sterling coming on 10 out of 10 times instead of Nelson. It's a good deal.

- 1 year loan, no obligation, no fees. chelsea still paying more than half of his wages. chelsea essentially strengthening us for free.

- A more than decent player with a chip on his shoulders that wants to prove he's still got it. He could have easily choose to stay at chelsea and do fuck all and still get his massive wage.

- Gives us time to prepare and go for our actual target (Nico Williams)

- and I rate Sterling higher than Martinelli who has been poor. I wont be surprised if Sterling somehow ends up being LW starter instead of just bench option.

with Trossard, Jesus, Sterling all being fluid enough to slot anywhere in the front three.
