the way i see it, defensively we are still good. but saliba is good as a ball playing CB. in fact, i value that trait of his rather than his defending alone.
with him, opposition need to close down and def against one more person, saliba.

with holding, defensively solid, but opponent know there is little to worry from him offensively.

i watched a few of the draw matches, we missed this from saliba. its easier to predict and prevent. plus, i think because of holding, tactic changed a bit, looks like white is not so marauding as well.
