Just curious. With all the spending, how certain that arsenal can actually retain 2nd in the next season.

And if say they cannot do that. Then is this a waste of money?

But I doubt anyone of you will answer this post.

Oh. I have not been following football but I bet even 80 million pounds look good for Harry Maguire then 100 mill for Declan rice. Remember Harry Maguire was England captain at that time and also because of this would have more commercial value as well. I am sure Declan rice being west ham captain actually means a thing.

Not surprised if this post get reported too.

we can spend that much without a sugar daddy is an achievement already.

regardless of final league placement, this will not be the first time Arsenal wastes money (pepe?), many other big clubs also waste money and achieve nothing.

financially, if we can finish top 4 for another champions league already worth the money, disaster if spend that much but fail to qualify for UCL.

as a sensible fan, don't expect to spend big = winning something, remember our neighbour spent even bigger last season and can't even get into UCL.

the premier league is just more and more competitive,
from MU domination in early PL, to MU-Arsenal top 2 race,
then top 4 dominance (MU, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool),
then big 6 era (MU, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City, Spurs),
now we have a new sugar daddy club Newcastle...
even top 4 finish is much harder than before.

Are you for real?

Arsenal's owners are one of the wealthiest groups on earth whom also owns multiple sport clubs including denver nuggets, which just won nba recently. And even the loan for Declan rice is from kronke's own companies not from banks.

kroenke dont pump $ into the club, i will only consider arab owners as sugar daddy.

These were the source of funds for each PL club up to 2017:

user posted image

Basically, Kroenke did not fund Arsenal at all until he acquired full ownership in the year 2018.

user posted image

Kroenke started to provide funds/loans to Arsenal when the COVID hit, but the amount is still nowhere near those sugar daddy clubs, and even lesser than mid-table clubs like aston villa/fulham/everton/leicester/brighton

Arsenal was able to spend big recently due to good management and operation, and also the massive PL TV income and the expected income from UCL.

Thanks for admitting again what you are, i rest my case.

You did not exactly say I have no brain but you talk about me using my brain a bit.which is similar

See how deluded you are?

But the difference between them and me is, I announced that I reported you to prove a point. You see, I am tired of ppl just abusing the report button and so I decided to retaliate. That's all. At least I admit to doing that. I reported your post not because I am not happy with your post. There is a major difference. But you just cannot see it.

But it's ok. You just cannot see that's all.

More than half (53.33%) of the top 30 clubs in the money leagues are from EPL, EPL clubs are just damn rich:
user posted image

EPL TV money for season 2021/22 was £100m-£150m and qualified to UCL will have additional TV money of about £70m-£100m:
user posted image

EPL TV money for season 2022/23 will be even more at £130m-£170m, even relegated team Leicester/Leeds/Southampton will get ~£130m each:
https://futballnews.com/english-premier-lea...22-2023-season/

This means every EPL club can spend big on transfers without much funding from the owner. We can see most top clubs did not have any funding from owners in season 21/22 including Arsenal:
user posted image

Arsenal spent quite alot of money on player purchases in season 21/22:
user posted image

But Arsenal's total wages were still pretty low compared to other top clubs:
user posted image

Arsenal has a manageable amount of debt:
user posted image

and most of these are "soft" debts owed to owner Kroenke:
user posted image

With higher expected revenue, low wages and debt, Arsenal's finances are in pretty good shape, don't even need to blink to spend £105m on Rice rclxms.gif

I just want to see MC punished to oblivion at this point, and relegated to division 3 or some shit.
Making fake financial records and etc just so they could splurge is a big no no.. Not sure why it went quiet for some reason. Their action is rather slow.

Ngl man city’s financial on paper looks very healthy in recent years, not sure how much truth in it

Being in the UCL alone helped top clubs to maintain Wages to Turnover Ratio below 70% (UEFA’s upper limit):

Winning treble this year gonna increase their revenue even more and complied with every financial regulation.

Allegedly there is like over 100+ FFP breach from them. So it's just being swept under the rug mostly.
Not sure how much they are going to be fined, if their trophy will be forfeited, and if they will be deducted points or relegated all together.
Whatever they win and those revenue might be flipped also, we'll see. nod.gif

Just deduct 6 pts from Man City 22/23, then suddenly Arsenal have a trophy laugh.gif
