we had 2 versions of ozil:
- First one was a world-class player that contribute 50 PL assists, who worked hard to fight for both the club and country.
- The second one was a total flop after signing the big contract, had nothing to fight for because already got the last big contract in his career and also feud with the national team and retire from international football (this means no need to do well in the club to be selected). He contributed merely 5 assists in 54 appearances since the new contract. For comparison, Smith-rowe already has 5 assists in 8 appearances this season.

I think every fans would appreciate the first version of Ozil but not the second version.

in the corporate world, the 2nd version of ozil is like high pay deadwood in a company, any company would want to get rid of them as they hinder the progress of the company.

only 6 mths in a new league, I doubt odegaard can contribute much.

Odegaard's dribbling and passing look good on youtube, kind of similar to Ceballos.
But seems easy to go down with physical challenges, I think he will have a hard time in PL.

Maybe arteta plan to loan him for next season as well.

we don't have any players worthy of these number yet, so just park in loanees instead of giving to random inferior player, can easily change number again the end of the season.

martinelli can play striker with saka/ESR/Ø behind him.

usually, when he played as a lone striker, he will be isolated and did nothing for most of the match, looks like the young and energetic trio (Saka/ESR/odegaard) behind him makes the difference.
