Just a couple of questions:
1. If you want to have a personal number and another number for other business purposes, would you go for a dual SIM (in the case of my iPhone mini 12 it'd be one nano-SIM and one eSIM) or would you go for 2 phones? Which offers more convenience overall?
2. Does eSIM work exactly the same as a traditional micro/nano-SIM?
Would love to hear your input, thanks in advance!

No way I would want to carry 2 phones in my pocket, 1 phone is heavy enough.

Depends. If company's giving me a phone to use for work, sure, I'll carry two phones. Save a bit on battery, especially if the two sim you're using runs on two different network with drastically different coverage. Also makes it easier to shut things off from work once your work hours is done.
But if we're talking about sheer convenience factor, dual-sim phone wins hands down. I mean, sure, I can't receive two phone calls at the same time, but that rarely happens these days with whatsapp.

1. I used to use dual sim phone so that i only have to carry one phone. But due to work life balance, I switch to 2 phones now. After 6pm, I'll jz leave my work phone alone and be with my personal phone. It's totally up to you.
2. Yups, they are the same.

Thank you

I do hope my iphone has the function of turning off SIM 2, haven't tried using dual SIM before so I'm not sure. Anyone has experience getting eSIM (new number) from Digi?

If I'm using eSIM + NanoSIM on my iphone, can I deactivate 1 of them temporarily when not in used to save battery? If I did and someone calls my deactivated number that time, will the phone rings?
