Hello everyone. This might be a question asked umpteenth times but may i know what is the price for Dopod838pro at this point of time?

Hi guys ,

I just bought my Dopod 838pro yesterday , RM1.4k with 10months warranty from Sis ( as claimed by seller ) , so i bought .

And after that i went to SiS center , and found out that its actually a HK unit , no warranty from Malaysia so i called the seller back . He said its warranty by a shop in Summit.

But there's this problem with the camera , it likes sometimes working sometimes not working . I checked with SiS , they said it might be Cable problem.

So my question is , anyone here actually faced fault on phone until they have to claim from SIS?

Are there any problem with the Keyboard , button , screen etc? Is this phone spoilt easily? If its not spoilt easily i wont return the phone back to the seller.

u have to go to SiS center to check. They have their special way of identifying it .

the camera sometimes is working and sometimes not working.

Is this the camera problem or the cable problem?

i've flashed my 838pro to K's Rom already. But my computer doesn't detects it after that. The active sync just doesnt show up lol.

what is happening

i am facing one problem now.

My laptop will stop syncing with my dopod 838pro after a while . It doesn't happen when i sync my dopd 577w.

I'm using activesync 4.5 . But it just will automatically lose connection with my pc after a while

I installed TCPMP , and it claimed that it can play most video files , but i tried with Mpeg4 , FLV , WMV , all failed . it says it is not supported .

My Camera problem is now resolved , i only need to soft reset to make it stablilized. Will get it fixed soon

I realised i had problem with my keyboard lol . Its partially remapped . Example like if i press Fn+S , supposed it come out with " but instead it come out with _ .

Do i need to patch anything for good?

for my Dopod 577w, RM100

Btw , has anyone overclocked their dopod 838pro? Whats the know best performing clock speed which will not damage my unit , and is there any software that i can do this?

i'm having problem with my text messaging suddenly just now

It started when i wanna type " Dont worry " , but suddenly it hanged at " don't " , and its not responding after that . I soft reset for a few times and its still occuring and everytime i start the messaging it's very slow

Is this ROM problem? what's the MOST stable ROM now? Please tell me . Thanks . It doesn't feel good to experience this , i had weak heart for my baby to have anything .

My phone will automatically switched off!! This happened for so many times these few days . And sometimes the screen goes black off but the phone is still on. what is this man? Anyone can help me?

No its not like that. Okay here the case is

As usual when my phone is put idle for a while it'll turn off , and u need to press the power button to activate it right. Then sometimes when i pres the power button, nothing appears in my screen, I press and press nothing happen. Then u can see the power indicator is still blinking. I cant do anything but to reset it by pressing the hole down there with the stylus.

And sometimes when activating , it seems completely shut down and when i press the power button and it shows the start up screen , and the whole PDA is rebooting.

OMG... Is my phone screwed?
