Hi, I'd like to reach out to any laptop enthusiast out here to get me out of my dilemma

Been looking around for a decent "entry" level laptop that i could use on a daily basis and could handle a bit of a lite gaming and come across these Tongfang's product. These two fit my budget even after a little upgrade perfectly(RM3000 - 3500) but I cant decide which one should I go for (T_T) Intel vs Ryzen

Im using them for just a light work of photo/video editing, a little bit of gaming(android emulator, csgo, league), and just a normal daily usage of perhaps browsing and that's about it for now that i could think of.

If you have an even better suggestion apart from these two I'd be more appreciated to know. The only thing im concerned of is its weight, as I prefer a lightweight laptop cuz I'll be carrying it around for most of the times. But still, open to suggestions. If it weight more yet will deliver more within the budget range I'd no reason to turn it down.

Anyway, sorry for wall of text, have a good day! :)

Also, here are the specs for the two mentioned(copy from website) :

Beware of bad QC on Illegear batteries. They get swollen within 1 year.

that's something new, i havent found a single comment about its batteries while researching ty for the heads up.

A friend of mine recommended Asus TUF A15 R7 instead, apart from the cooling issue(very little airflow) i find it somewhat acceptable at that price point (RM4k) or is it?

if you can accept models with poor cooling, you can pretty much choose any gaming laptop at your own preference - which makes recommendation pointless

Legion 5 is much better if you want gaming laptop. Only downside is have to wait

well if you're already decided on either one of those two the most i could give is my prayers

otherwise i'd go with ZM Fong's recommendation threads and read up from there.

For your price point it's mostly differences in looks so go with the one that strikes your fancy

I see, bcs it's a gaming laptop and especially not the expensive one so I reckon expecting it to perform decent while maintaining the temp low is quite the impossible job to do or at least that's what most of the gaming laptop reviews said.

I'll look into it, thanks for help!
