hello. thought maybe some seniors can input on these questions of a noob, thanks.

1. averagingly, how much is the DYE I4 mask? it seems that is the lightest & less bulky ones available in the market. not a big fan of big mask.

2. considering these three markers, which would be most preferable?
- RAP4_T68_GEN6
- Tippmann X7
- Tippmann X7 Phenom

3. have anyone tried using the FLEXI-AIR-SYSTEM where the gas tank is in the buttstock (the largest is 3000psi)?

4. how good is eGrip?

Added on April 5, 2010, 2:31 pmhi hi ...

1. On average, the Dye i4 should cost around 350 for normal ones. and 400+ for limited edition ones.

2. Well, i'm a speedballer, hence i can't tell you which is better.

3. wad do you mean by flexi air system ? care to elaborate ?

4. Which brand are you talking about ?

5. Why are u considering an SPDX in the first place?

thanks for replying.

3. wad do you mean by flexi air system ? care to elaborate ?
usually, the gas tank is attach to the ASA at the bottom of the handle, or to a remote line which most players put it on their back.
Flexi Air System is by RAP4 if i am not wrong & mainly for milsim markers which the gas tank is attach to the rear end of the marker. i think you can understand more clearly if you visit this page:
Flexi Air Systemhttp://www.rap4.com/paintball/os/T68_air_system.php

4. Which brand are you talking about ?
not really sure though, just asking in general about e-grip.

5. Why are u considering an SPDX in the first place?
the SPDX seems like a decent, easy maintainable speedball marker and good for starters. so was asking about it.

just went on my virgin paintball game yesterday in tanah-merah. typically i am a milsim fanatic & will most probably see myself as a recball player. but my girl is more to speedball type, anyway, already got the marker for her. looks like a decent marker for starters as i got it with the starter package mention.

tanah merah was fun. the intense fire fights, squad leader badgering for forward, and the tactical operations all makes it exciting.

thanks...
went to Napshot & Skirmish that day.

they are offering starters package. if you like speedball, have a look at Napshot selling SPDX package. and for those who like milsim, Skirmish offering Tippman Alpha Black Tactical which the starter package is surprisingly quite good.

- Alpha Black.
- Harness.
- Proto EL Switch Goggles.
- 4+1 Harness.
- 3000PSI tank.

less than 1.3k ... quite a value it seems. for those newbie's like me, and a fan of milsim, that is one nice package.

i heard Bukit Cahaya has a park.

if you are all new & really new, would recommended Canyon & Tanamera. Good briefing & starting.

not likely possible.
if you check a few previous post, people bringing in accessories of marker already facing problems.
a whole marker would be really problematic.

then you must also consider that:
- warranty?
- where to repair?
- the parts available?

in the long run & time saving & efforts, you might be seriously better off buying from local stores.
