Hi all,

Need recommendation for ultra wide monitor with specs as following:

- ultra wide 34"
- 29:1 3440x1440p
- curved
- High refresh rate and low response time as possible as according to budget
- Games: Dota2, CSGO, Ragnarok
- Usage: Netflix, web browsing and some light microsoft office works.

Budget RM2k or below

Currently looking at the Gigabyte g34wqc and Xiao Mi Curved 34" Gaming Monitor. Just wanna know if there are better alternative out there that fit in my budget.

Thanks all in advance notworthy.gif

i bought a xiaomi recently.. all i can say is fantastic for the price point

if you are up for high refresh rate and dont mind a bit of ghosting and to sacrifice some color accuracy

xiaomi is the way to go, see review below

For budget RM 2k, I think Xiaomi is the best, I personally seen it, not bad for that price. Can consider.

You can check out at Xiaomi store.

I watched all those 3 reviews already haha! I mean on the paper the Gigabyte seem better than the xiaomi.

The hardware unboxed reviews TLDR:-

Video edit, better colors, better build quality - go for xiao mi
Gaming, better contrast ratio, lower response time - Go for Gigabyte

Honestly i'm still in dilemma in between these 2. Meanwhile to seem recommendations if there are better alternative biggrin.gif

Dont focus on what the monitors offer, focus on what you need then compare to features. Pay more for a cutting edge monitor is useless if non of the features is any use to you. Then consider warranty claim process etc. And lastly availability. Thats how i narrowed down to my final choice on xiaomi.

Can someone confirm this on Xiaomi screen

Does it have black dimming issue

I.e when you scroll a page with black background and white font.. does the text looks blur when you scroll?

And only readable once stopped scrolling?
