Guys, been trying to setup my Wii to my new Linksys WAG200G wireless Modem + router but no luck.
The Wii can detect the router, I entered the WAP but getting 52132 error.
Then I tried manually assigning the IP and DNS and changed MTU to 1500 still the same thing.
This is the first time I used Linksys so all I did was added some static DNS IP under Network Address Server Settings (DHCP) on the Basic Setup page.
Please Help!

I thought the Wii and NDS can only support WEP only?

QUOTE(ffrulz @ Aug 19 2007, 12:56 AM) I thought the Wii and NDS can only support WEP only? The Wii can support WEP and 3 types of WPA. Actually I tried setting free access and closing the firewall, but still gave the same error code. Can you guys using Linksys WAG200G tell me the step by step for Wii to connect?

Just restarted my Wii and can connect!
But one issue has been bugging me for a while, there is an update (code start with 6) that i cannot complete everytime. It always update till around 1/20 progress and cancel or something (japan). I use the update function same thing happened even though it did not state the update code.
Anyone has this problem because it seems i cannot do other updates other if i cannot complete this one. Or does Wii ask for other updates when i click cancel on this update?
Me version 3.0J

QUOTE Wii Error Code 52130 - 52132
There appears to be an issue with your wireless router's firewall.
Try a Manual Setup with the Wii console, using your network's IP configuration settings. To access these settings: On your PC, click "Start" and then "Run." Type "CMD" into the field that appears to open a new window. Type "IPCONFIG/ALL" and press "Enter" to display a list of internet settings. Locate the settings asked for by the Wii console during the Manual Setup process and enter them. Power cycle your router by unplugging it from the wall. Wait a few minutes, and plug it back in. Try to connect the Wii console online and test for proper response.
Disabling your router's wireless security may help the Wii console's online connection. Consult your wireless router's manual or check with the router manufacturer for more details. Please note Nintendo provides these recommendations as a resource to our consumers; it is up to each consumer to determine if adjusting their router's security settings are the right choice for their home network. Perhaps you want to try WEP security setting?

I believe the 3.0 update is the latest at this moment in time. I have the 3.0U and even though I had just downloaded the update, the Wii asked me to update because there was newer firmware. Upon attempting to connect, it said that I had the most up to date firmware so I didn't need to update.
