I read somewhere on ps5 fb that extended warranty no longer applicable to those purchased from authorized resellers like GH, m4g, heavy all those?

Only from Sony themselves or Sony appointed dealers like Midvalley, IOI etc. If it's true, what's up with the bias?

No warranty. Got problem then gg haha. For the price I paid its a trade off.

Skip it. This is too much. You don’t need those stupid covers and back packs and ps4 games. Not to mention those sets not eligible for extended warranty.

Just wait for next month restock. Try purchasing from Sony website and watch out for the ETA date on the product page. If fail, then can go to lalaport on the ETA date and see got stock or no.

Ah my bad then, can show where does it say that the warranty covers for "out of region" purchase on western digital page?

Alright will do. Btw, I saw one of the comment on youtube, he bought the SN850 during prime day and Amazon shipped him the official PS5 SN850 packaging although the listing shows the older ones. In fact the official ps5 ssd is slightly more expensive by $20 or so.

actually additional controller also 12+3, I just checked my account. But this was last year though, perhaps they change the warranty policy this year? Even dualsense charging station also 12+3.

I recalled if not mistaken starting mid last year, you no longer able to register any ps5 accessories on the sony asia website. You just need keep the original invoice. Cause I purchased the midnight black controller and couldn't register online back then also.

Even extended warranties for the ps5 console will not show up on the sony website anymore, you just need to keep the pdf cert iinm. I guess maybe units are getting more and harder for them to keep updating haha.

Make sure you all claim your 6 months free apple tv+ sub if you don't have one yet. Available till October 22 on both ps4 and ps5.

Hmm, cancellation was a breeze for me. I just went ahead to cancel the sub in case I forget in the future via my iphone > apple ID > subscriptions. It says I can access apple TV+ until certain date 22 Jan 2023 though plan was cancelled.

Just a sidenote, content is very very limited, and ps5 app doesn't support DV of course and let alone DAtmos. It is better to login your account via your TV native app if your TV supports DV.
