Actually I dont understand those that are so eager to get the games, why wait for Physical copies? Cant you just buy digital copy? 90% of my PS4 games are digital, piece of mind. Wont get spoilt down the years, it's forever in my library.

Because we can resell the games and fund for the next... how do u do that with digital?

Resell, share with friends/family, collection, internet slow.

Mainly these 4 reasons.

not everyone want to own the games forever, some might just buy, play and sell to earn a little for next games.

There’s pros and cons. I bought both digital and physical copies. My reason is simple. Can resell.

I bought digital PS5 because its more sexier haha. That is my only reason. The standard one is too fat and ugly.

Any idea where in KL/PJ where I can get the PS5 as a walk-in customer? Didn't manage to pre-order it due to all the sites crashing on pre-order day.

When I buy a disc at launch most I'll take to finish usually a week.. after I'm done I will sell it (no matter how much i love the game). After I sell it I'll wait for discount on sony store and then re-buy it on digital if I really like the game.

Give an example, the Spider-man game.. I really really loved that game, finished it within a week.. No DLC at that time. I sold it and got back about rm 200 for it. Many months later (less than a year?) I rebought the ultimate edition on PSN store and at a much cheaper rate. That is why I will choose physical.

However for games like Monster hunter... I know I will play the hell out of it and won't finish within the week and for me the value drops more and more after a week or two.. I buy digital.

prices on carousell are better at around 2800-2900, for me 2800 is ok, considering im paying rm500 extra to be able to play it at least 2 months in advance

To replace my old Panasonic bluray player to an Ultra HD Blu-ray for my 4K Bluray movies which I have no reason to buy earlier but now I do. 😊 It support Dolby Atmos for movies too so 2 in 1 device rather than buying another Ultra HD Blu-ray player. May not apply for those who doesn't use it for home theater too.

IMHO - you are considered early adopter, so its better to buy that.
Entirely up to you.
