You'll be surprised so many ppl misunderstood how "Catalog" works (seen it from fb group). They thought the games will be in their collection once they've "claimed" it before Sony take it out from the library. Foresee a lot will start ranting if that happened 😂
hahaha...I know...but in gamepass , 1st party game from microsoft is stay forever rite?
Games can get delisted because of licensing issues, doesn't matter if it's first party or third party. No games are permanent, even if it doesn't sound logical for Sony to remove its own IPs like Uncharted and GoW.
MS has removed first party games from Gamepass before too btw.
They credit back to you is still in the form of digital credit, in your PS wallet. That means the money is already theirs since you cannot withdraw that to cash. You'll be forced to top up just to buy something in the PS store.
At the end of the day, Sony still benefits from this "fuck up". Bet gamers don't care.
Hi , any 1 use the kingston FURY Renegade 1TB NVME? which better ya compare to AORUS GEN 4 7000s 1tb?
They are more or less the same drive lol. Both uses Phison PS5018 controller. Only difference is the Kingston uses the newer Micron 176-layer TLC NAND vs the Aorus which uses the older 96-layer TLC NAND.
Pick whichever is cheaper.

Sony has credited back the money into my account, but damn now I'm forced to spend it. They really should have been sued and refunded us back in cash.

Will you or anyone else as a gamer do anything about it? No. Easy say only they should get sued. Who wanna go file the lawsuit?
Looks like US PS+ deluxe/extra doesn't offer any games that are exclusive to their market. No reason to sub to US PS+ anymore then when Asia is much cheaper since there's no streaming option here.
Edit - well they do have RE:DC as a PS1 classic though.

" The Western version of the new PS Plus also offers a significantly expanded catalog, with dozens of additional titles added to the catalog of PS4 and PS5 available to “Extra” tier subscribers and PS1 to PS3 classics available to “Premium” tier members. Newly added PS4/PS5 games include the likes of Fallout 4, Fallout 76, Nioh, Prey, Shenmue 3, SoulCalibur 6, Tropico 5, The Dark Pictures Man of Medan and Little Hope, and Resident Evil: Director's Cut. Meanwhile, added classics include Demon's Souls, Devil May Cry 4, Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas, God of War HD 1 and 2, InFamous 1 and 2, Red Dead Redemption, numerous Resident Evil titles, including 4, 5, 6, Code Veronica, Revelations 1 and 2, and a number of Ratchet & Clank games. " But I think these will be added to PSN MY gradually .
At launch , we did not get Patapon 1 and 2 like HK and Japan's PSPLUS did and they were eventually added to the SG / MY PSN catalog as well .
@bolded Uhm it's important to note that those title are PS3 games via streaming. So they won't be in the SEA catalog anytime soon (if ever).
US PS+ Premium USD28.93 to upgrade 175 days. Around RM128 only. Try it out first. Next renewal only change to extra. But the price really big difference. MY 1 year only RM309. Current exchange rate US is MYR528 per year.
Worst case I can change my account from US to MY by calling CS?
Wait, why don't you just sub to MY PS+ Extra/Premium then?
PS+ sub is still shareable across users with their own PSN accounts on the same console.
Sorry what do you mean? I have 2 accounts US and MY. US is my main account. All my purchases and PS+ games collected over the years are in US account. If I sub MY PS+ I can still access US PS+ contents? I thought only can share PS Network, to play multiplayer games?
After much hurdle finally bought Gift Card from Amazon and upgraded to premium.
All your purchased games on US PSN acc can still be accessed with any other account on the same console. Of course your PS+ games which btw you don't own since it's just a glorified rental service you will lose access to, BUT most of the games that were on PS+ prior to this Extra/Premium tier are already (or will be) on the sub service anyway.
Or are there many games that you absolutely must play that is on your prior PS+ now that you must "keep" (rent) that you foresee won't be on the subscription tier?
Speaking of queue waiting list for PS5, the IOI city mall (putrajaya) one is definitely already after the 130 mark. Reason I'm so sure is because I got a whatsapp that I have a unit to be picked up last week.
According to store manager there, Sony stores received more units this round vs all the months previously (I can't disclose the exact number of units for confidentiality sake). So you guys can expect stock to slowly improve in the second half of this year.
hopefully by the end of this year i can just walk in to any Sony Ctr and get one on the spot... haha
Won't happen.
Reason is because Sony will not allocate a big batch of PS5 units to SEA region simply due to one major reason: software sales in this region is among the lowest in the world.
Software sales = revenue. That's where Sony earns from gamers, not the sale of the hardware.
You probably would say: If no PS5 then how to buy games?
Yes, you're right. But unfortunately the reality is that majority of PS5 owners (and this was also backed by PS4 sales previously) only buys 1 or 2 games a year. Most just buy the typical yearly Fifa and that's all they play.
An unfortunate situation, but don't expect in-store availability of PS5s until chip shortages are over (which is expected to be end of 2023).
A not so known open secret is that when Sony MY brings in the stocks, it is usually a 60-40 split.
As in 60% of stocks usually go to licensed 3rd party sellers, 40% is then split between all the other Sony official stores (that are operated and managed by another company, like Flash Gadgets for example).
There is talks that Sony MY wants to change this value around by year end. You all don't have PS5s one, pandai pandai la want to succumb to indirect scalping or not.
Wonder how much is the damage when in come into MY market
$899 for the top model, only 27". Lmao. Sony doesn't do market research or they already made this monitor 2 years ago, but covid fucked up their release schedule?
EDIT - that said, at least some points have to be given to the INZONE m9 for having fairly decent HDR capability. 800 nits full screen, 680 nits for 10% window is not bad. It's much better than the Dell G3223Q in that area.

Remember don't be one of those fucking hypocrites. Condemning scalpers but then go and buy forced PWP bundles, which is basically indirect scalping anyways.
