There is reportedly 3 tiers to it. Base tier is basically the same as the current PS+. Tier 2 is having access to a collection of PS4 games. The last tier is possibly PS+ and PSNow + access to PS1-PS3 titles.

I doubt Sony will be able to compete with MS game pass either ways since GPU also extends to PC, which Sony obviously can't do.

I'm sure the Sony official plates are made in the same factory that the no-name China made plates that people have been selling for a year already for RM60.

- Move to 6nm or 5nm process for the APU, but this is most unlikely scenario since Apple already fully booked 5nm from TSMC.
- Simplify the motherboard, downgrade VRM section.
- Reduce the overhead capability of the PSU.
- Use a cheaper fan.
- Use lower quality liquid metal that has lower gallium content.
- Change the molding complexity of the cover plates (less rigid, no microscopic PS symbols).
- Increase royalty fees for games sold.

I could go on even longer, a single post won't be enough to cover the amount of cost cutting Sony can do to profit even more out of the PS5.

GT7 is 90% simulator.

NFS is an arcade racer.
Forza Horizon is an arcade racer... sorta.
Forza Motorsport is a semi-simulator.

Gran Turismo has never been better on a controller. This is the first time GT doesn't feel like shit on a controller to be quite frank.

Of course a wheel is a whole different experience and that's another deep rabbit hole to get into if you're serious about it. But Dual Sense is with GT7 quite impressive.

You all forgot 1 very important detail, it's only Thursday today.

Last month they put up the PS5 page on Wednesday also, but only dropped it on Friday.

Notice on FB was Thursday yes, but the page for PS5 on Sony's online store was Wednesday.
