Mom want to replace ceiling fans at her small shop, she prefer kdk but someone tell her kdk's quality isn't that good recently, is that true? If that's true which other brands are recommended? Thanks ya.

They last for years & spare part easily available even after 10 years!
If you live near the sea stay away from the electronics ones unless the circuit board are properly sealed.

panasonic is good decent fan, can last long. kdk and panasonic i think is same, just model name diff

Stick to kdk please. Last bought 4 years ago when people said it becum shitty brand. Still running good like day 1. Don't forget to lap kipas every month

Best among the non mainstream players and cheaper too especially if it is a DC motor.

Avoid China branded ones as the hook needed is not the easiest to find here and avoid Rubine rubbish fan with rubbish after sales.

Go out visit old kopitiam and see their old fan that are still running.That's the best brand.

My house uses 7 KDK remote ceiling fans. Already 10 years never failed.
Once a month clean the dust on the blades.

Panasonic fans also manufactured by KDK.

I would avoid deka, slowdown after few years of usage. Experienced 2 units all the same.

10 Bayu 10 will make noise after few years.

I have 3x units, one in each room. 2 units already giving me issue. 1 unit had to replace motor, 2nd unit going to replace motor soon perhaps after cmco.

Using daily still silent and good today.

Avoid milux at all costs

I have been using kdk, Panasonic and deka.. I can't really tell you which is reliable.. They all had problems with sound from motor after 1 to 2 years

So my latest when my deka failed on me, I decided to try this new brand REZO Ventus costing me rm134. So far 3 months it been fantastic, wind is strong, fan is silent. It comes with 3 years warranty, hence I decided to try it and its cheap 😁

when comes to ceiling fans, prefer either kdk or panasonic.
they can last quite long. other brands, probably khind n sharp.

panasonic ok 4 blade with rc.
last for more than 15 year.

normal maintenance just wipe every month or you noticed dust start accumulated at the blade

Just to ask, is dc fan with soft "bzzz" sound normal? Fan is "on" with 0 speed.

kinda looking towards Alpha Vannus for DC fan, otherwise Alpha Cosa Express / Elmark Atom if just AC one. onli using 40" fan since the placement will got obstruction if longer blades than 48"
