QUOTE(Nyan1234 @ Dec 5 2020, 10:15 AM) Mom want to replace ceiling fans at her small shop, she prefer kdk but someone tell her kdk's quality isn't that good recently, is that true? If that's true which other brands are recommended? Thanks ya. PANASONIC. Don't bother with any other brands.

Get basic ones with wall modulator is enough.
Remote control ones seem to have higher risk of failure, even Panasonic, KDK brand.

I would avoid deka, slowdown after few years of usage. Experienced 2 units all the same.

I agree, avoid Deka Looks good, reasonably priced but plenty of problems. I have 3x units, one in each room. 2 units already giving me issue. 1 unit had to replace motor, 2nd unit going to replace motor soon perhaps after cmco.

I bought Sharp ceiling fan 6 years ago, reasonably cheap. Using daily still silent and good today. https://forum.lowyat.net/index.php?act=ST&f...post&p=70790204This post has been edited by Hattori: Dec 5 2020, 04:08 PM

Same as other ktard experience on Deka: QUOTE(Seager @ Nov 25 2020, 03:49 PM) Owner of 3x unit Deka Kronos 5 blade fans here - very unreliable. Not even 2 years of full usage, 1 fan started having loud "swooshing" noise when in use for more than a couple of minutes - managed to claim warranty, changed entire motor. A couple of months later, another unit started having the same issue :x
