AP cost RM 0, it is a permit. Unscrupulous people hoarding/given these permits assign value to it by selling it for RM 10k or more, The rest of the price (50k .... 70k more than likely is the tax or underdeclared tax). Minimum 5 years old for commercial AP. Personal AP, you can even bring in a 1900s Ford Model T.and you could get the new mini cooper as low as RM20K with the AP..

New Automotive policy will be announced this week by Mahathir's Son. AP will be set at a price at RM10k, removing at least some easy money from the Unscrupulous people while enriching the gov. coffers
