Hi guys, I'm driving the new Myvi. 2 years+ already, mileage at 32k+.

Today I notice the front passenger side tyre are wearing out. So far I've never changed the tyres before.

I also notice the front passenger side tyre wears and tears more than the front driver side tyre. The back tyres look ok, not that much wear and tear.

1) Should I replace both the front tyre? Or only the worn out one?
2) What are the recommended brands / models? So far I heard Michelin XM2 is good for Myvi.
3) If I do get 2 new tyres, should I put it as the back tyre, and use the back tyre (old ones) as front tyres?
4) Any recommendation on good tyre shops around PJ, KL? Best bang for buck type. lol.

Sorry budak baru nak up ni. hahaha

This looks like kedai bawah pokok alignment.

properly aligned car should not wear like this.

Next time do it outside, alignment every 10k km, dun let your SC do dy.

There are good SCs, yours is just very bad at doing alignment.

1) Should I replace both the front tyre? Or only the worn out one?
BOTH.

2) What are the recommended brands / models? So far I heard Michelin XM2 is good for Myvi.
Eco Tyres are more or less the same. Go for reputable brands, and anything EXCEPT Ling Long, silverstone, viking and dunlop.

3) If I do get 2 new tyres, should I put it as the back tyre, and use the back tyre (old ones) as front tyres?
YES.

4) Any recommendation on good tyre shops around PJ, KL? Best bang for buck type. lol.

What's the issue with Viking and Dunlop? They are all manufactured my Continental Malaysia along with Sportiva. They serve the purpose as good value tyres that are safe enough for normal driving. Surely thay are made to meet international standards especially with Continental being a major tyre company.

How many km aledi?
Every 10-15k should rotate the tyre.

For 15" 185/55/15 or 195/55/15 many good tyre available at affordable price. GY assurance, PS4, Yoko and the likes. Stopping distance in wet is priority. Eco tyre tend to be rock hard to last long (BS Ecopia)..dry day also ABS engaged when stopping for red light rclxub.gif
Even OEM trade in sometimes can score 99% new bridgestone for cheap.

Uhh.. manufactured to barely passing and manufactured to higher standard is another story. Ang moh countries seldom have such heavy rainfall as compared to Msia.
For PS4 I dare to use until TWI 0%.
Ecopia even got 40-50% left already start to activate ABS at traffic light stops on nice hot sunny day. Scary. This never happened with PS4.

It will work lah but either no grip hard stone once halfway worn (Farken), or botak very fast (Goodride HT)
Cheap and good will be Goodyear assurance or JDM Dunlop.
