I remember last time I joined the Tropicana Twister contest. To win it, you need to submit the most entries. In the end, the winner is few thousand entries! (1 bottle = 1 entry) Definitely not normal.

I wonder how many times he didn’t win. Obviously he spent a lot to win a competition. What if another person (like him) spend more than him?

QUOTE(hur @ Nov 27 2022, 11:43 AM) Regular compers usually don't just join one contest at a time, they try to sweep the floor clean. This may be his full-time job. I've also seen his gf/wife winning a car as well (castrol), so he got some assistance. Furthermore, hiring people in Sarawak to help is probably not that expensive compared to KL. Thats why i always said, if LLK win, it is not luck. If you win, you are the lucky one. Can you imagine, if 1000 entries, he got 999 while you got 1, how you going to win?His strategy works because no one else dares to take risks like him. Imagine spending RM10,000-20,000 and not winning anything (if can resell the goods, you can reduce to loss by 80-90%). You need money to make money. It's like bank's swipe and win contests, the winners of luxury cars are usually already rich to be able to make large purchases. B40 simply cannot afford it. |
