I am using 7 plus, and the battery is draining much faster than before, should i just change the battery itself, or change to new iphone? Any suggestions?

New one is always good.

But then Malaysia no commercial 5G yet

If got money then buy iPhone XR or 11

if no money change battery first

If you are happy with the 7 plus features, then just change the battery.

The thing is i am not sure what the root cause of 7 plus draining fast, is it because there is "tweak" in new IOS? or the battery capacity shrink

I would just change the battery. Wait till apple no longer support ios updates, only then I'll change phone.

If the phone is still in good shape and works great based on your usage, then yes, just go ahead and change the battery. The phone will still have another year of major OS update, after that you can decide if you want an upgrade.

If battery is your major concern, get 11 pro max. You can use it for a few good years and then only think of 5G. Malaysia 5G not starting anytime soon, and coverage needs time to expand.

Apparently change battery doesn’t work. I tot it worked so i spent 199 to change it.
Still very poor. Plus, mine is very lag and i always kena stuck outside of the shop and last to enter because MySejahtera app wont launch quickly smile.gif

Not sure how yours work but I can say I am happy for the upgrade.
No more lag temporarily plus theiP12 Pro max battery could lasts 1.3 days smile.gif

Mine no laggy issue, i am curious to know how fast is the fast charging, i notice apple's fast charging is not competent comparing to other brand like huawei etc

I used to be really obsessive about the charging speed so i was pretty skeptical about using ip11 at first (Been using Note8).

It got a godawful charging speed with the supplied power brick.

But then again fully charged ip11 would last me a full day compared to the old Note8 as long as I'm not too crazy about the brightness setting.

If I really need a slightly faster charging i just use my Xiaomi powerbank.

The thing is that fast charging is kind of a double edged sword.

You'll get your phone charged faster, but the takeaway is that the battery would degrade faster. You gain some, you lose some.

It really depends on what you need.
