Finally joined the team.
Received the phone and Jabra TWS last Saturday, and today just received the Baltic Blue leather case (replacing interim Spigen Thin Fit which is grease magnet). The leather case really does improve the handling and feeling when holding this ProMax.
Mous limitless leather not yet reach and wondering either it will add too much bulk or not. If yes, perhaps need to let go and replace with blue pitaka.

Hmm is normal Hoda olephobic??
*
I used the normal hoda for 1 week, i do felt that the oleophobic coating kinda pretty fast to wear off. On 11pro, for gloss tg, usually I’ll go with nillkin 3d-cp max or zeelot tg.
For hoda, would prefer their privacy screen (which is pretty good) and their low noise/haze matte tg which in my opinion among the clearest matte tg that i ever seeing around.

Currently awaiting flolab TG to arrive. Read lots of positive review about it hence look forward to try it out.

Heard it before it can work with Rhinoshield specified case. Not sure if series 12 still able to do that or not.

On 11series, nomad make certain of their leather case to be compatible with moment lens

Thanks for the very smart idea. laugh.gif
Hahaha. I’m not that young anymore either but thanks for the suggestion. tongue.gif
I actually want to see patina, that’s the whole purpose. laugh.gif
Yeah, I find Pacific Blue has limited choices of colours when it comes to matching casings.
Wait, can we really do it?
*
If you’re looking for slim patina leather back case for brown/light brown which does not discoloured so much after putting in slim/tight jeans, perhaps can survey Bellroy case.
Used on 11 pro, its patina much slower compared to Mous Contour brown case. Its pretty slim.
Plan to get one for 12pm but the baltic blue leather from apple seems so attractive hence i skip the bellroy.

On 11 pro, it does not button (kinda annoyed) but 12 series have it.
The border always tpu in black.
Lip coverage for bezel pretty minimum hence definitely need tg to protect ur screen.

not changing first, using flolab at the moment wait flolab rosak first  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif, the coating for this sapphire should be same with imos can last for around 1year+
*
I see 😊
Tempting to order the sapphire also. Haha.
Rite now using hoda low noise. I’m easily get annoyed with fingerprint. The incoming shipment flolab not yet sure wanna use or not.

Nike it, “Just do it”
Uhm... thought you already got it.
I’m using Hoda Sapphire, installed on 13th Nov when I got my iPhone. Tag me like one month later.
Yup. Sapphire coating last longer. My IMOS on older iPhone lasting till now. 1 year. I decided HODA cause imos is rm250 and hoda now is rm200. Friend recommended HODA sapphire. (Avoid other HODA stuff, there are better options)
*
Glad to know.
Seems now Hoda have the privacy sapphire, perhaps will opt for that one. One thing drawback when using hoda privacy on 11pro, despite its good for privacy and fingerprint resistance; i need to increase my brightness like 10-20% on top of my usual usage. Aside that noticed, using privacy a little bit challenge when doing QR payment (grab, m2u TnG etc) as need to properly align the phone screen to the scanner

For bellroy on 11p series, dont have button hence people complaint. On 12 they have it but as im already settle with official baltic blue apple leather case, i didnt proceed with bellroy 12. Unable to feedback about the button

Yeah, it seems some of the leather cases have buttons issue, not so tactical compared to Apple leather cases.
My most expensive casing to date, hope that Apple leather case is worthy. laugh.gif After listening to so many good comments about it, it’s difficult to resist the temptation.
*
Same boat. Hope this official case last long.
Haha
Just ordered ESR leather case. Around rm50. Read positive feedback about it.
Perhaps can be daily case to office.

Haha. I make a mistake when bought through shopee. After that, when noticed lazada got discount, bought the clear case (with blue border) along with few tgs for ipad air 4 (for my cousin) and ipad pro to make up for the earlier disappointment. Haha

Honestly, I don’t know how to appreciate MagSafe charger. It’s a slow charger, to be fair I’m not expecting it to be fast charging like the 20w wall adapter but it’s still slow in my opinion. Yes, I know about 15w vs 20w, still a bit disappointed though.

Practicality wise, it’s not that practical either. I will need to pull it out to detach from my phone, rather than easily lift up and leave the charger behind. I did know about this already from YouTube videos before trying out.

Another point, mine is just a 1:1 clone unit, not sure how the ori one actually fares but I don’t think it would differ a lot. I have Googled about this issue and people are complaining about slow charging as well.

I’m glad I didn’t spend for the real MagSafe charger though I have 15% discount from Digi for accessories. It’s just not my cup of tea and I understand everyone will have different views. I would like to hear from other owners as well. biggrin.gif
*
For me magsafe js a gimmick. I’m just using normal wireless charger (all my wireless charger came from Samsung, got it during their promo and pre-order phone) which maybe slower than magsafe but good enough for overnight slow charge and easier to lift up the phone compared to magsafe.

I guess apple just wanna prepare the users with portless iPhone 13 hence the introduction of the magsafe.

Wow that’s pretty cool, DIY?

Yes wireless charging does make your phone warmer, hence it is recommended to do so in an AC room. In terms of battery wise, I think it will be more or less the same, just make sure that it’s a MFI certified charger then you’re good to go.
It’s not a gimmick, it’s more or less addressing the issues with most Qi chargers, which is placement. Unless you have a charger with AIRA (Nomad Base Station Pro), you will often miss out on the ‘sweet’ charging spot when using conventional wireless chargers.

I wouldn’t say that Magsafe is the best wireless charger, it’s not even ‘wireless’ to begin with, but it’s one of the few 1st party Apple products available in the market. Technology is still new, perhaps later we will see OEMs start to develop Magsafe into their repertoire and we will be blessed with a plethora of Magsafe certified chargers, hopefully way better than Apple’s.
Looking forward to Nomad’s update, was so keen on getting the Base Station Pro, then Magsafe happened.  mega_shok.gif

Nahhhh. Its still a gimmick for the time being which only to address minor issue in the name of (loosely based) of innovation with intention to prep the fans and milking the cow. When it move to 2nd phase it will be better because or removal of the port (which indirectly forcing the customer to use it/adapt in typical apple fashion way)
For the records i dont recall having any issue with phone placement or miss-charge when using those wireless chargers be it on iPhone or Android phones. perhaps it apple intention to limit wireless charger potential and focus on this proprietary approach so that they can gain more $$$.
Wireless charger also start with some weightage tend towards gimmick aeons time ago (as that time it was pretty slow) but progressively improve while magsafe just putting the cherry on top of the cake and make it “huu-haa” as the best innovation in years. If its require human to unplug the magsafe charger hence not much different with the current port while traditional wireless charger u can just lift the phone up effortlessly.

Anyway like attw mentioned, some may think it’s useful and some may not. For me its a nope.

Just received (finally!) my Mous limitless 3.0 which bought directly from their website (with some additional discount voucher). Should just buy from local reseller which is much cheaper. The packaging seems to environmentally friendly or i would say seems cheapo box compared to those sell by reseller. Double standard. Also came today the flolab glass but thinking to let it go as had ordered Hoda Sapphire privacy.

Attached Image

Once put in the phone into the case, it feel very solid and heavy (iphone12pm on its own is damn heavy phone, design for Americans with their heavy weight than usual asians. Haha)

Love the limitless bezel at center which is lower compared to edges as it make the swiping felt more natural.

Overall feeling is good, seems better than on iPhone11pro with Limitless 3.0 leather case.

Anyway i do wish the back side edge surrounding the leather have some curvature which will improve gripping and handling (current state feel kinda sharp edge)

Case comparison weight
Left to right: spigen thin fit, apple leather baltic blue, mous limitless leather case.

Phone + case comparison weight. On bed, when holding the phone, if drop off on our face/body, demn it will be serious hurt. Lol 😂
Left to right: naked phone with Hoda matte glass; with spigen case; with apple leather case; with mous case.

hahah. usually i dont care but since owning the 12pm, it's too wide and too heavy for my preference, hence I become more cautious on case selection.
The mous case as expected in general is good. button tactility is excellence. wanna try it out these 1-2 days before decide wanna keep or let it go.
have a feeling that the apple leather case will be occasion/weekend case while the incoming ESR leather case will daily case along with ESR transparent case. smile.gif

eyeing for pitaka blue case, but it still under coming soon tongue.gif

Decided to take-off the matte hoda glass and replace with the privacy sapphire.
Although it came without helper, but the installation is easy. I just make use the mous case as a guide.

Attached Image

The printed hoda wording at the top left corner not really visible due to privacy.
The oleophobic coating; kinda letdown. Maybe i had too much high expectations. Not that great for me. Just comparable with normal hoda privacy glass on ip11pro.
Anyway as long it does not scratch and last for a year, thats a plus point edy.

Strange it didn't come with helper. oleophobic coating is similar with others. I doubt it's "better".

The other difference is it last longer for Sapphire and more resistant to scratches.

If impact proof, Sapphire loses out to hybrid glass like rhinoshield.

IMOS Sapphire, it lasts after 1 year if you compare with PET screen protectors. Hoda Sapphire i have, not sure, will see.

Regarding coating, 1st impression seems like it.
Let’s see how this sapphire last. 😊
