India is hindering a bunch of imported goods that are built in China from a few tech companies. With that said, products including Apple's iPhone 12 series and wearables from Xiaomi and OPPO are blocked by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) from entering the country since August.
the paperwork has taken almost up to two months to complete, as BIS typically processes imports within just 15 days. The delay has caused a headache to the retailers with the holiday season approaching as that's the time people are more likely to spend their money on these products. Earlier this year, a border clash has also happened in the country due to traders and Hindi nationalist groups are calling for boycotting imported goods from China. We wonder if this has anything to do with that.
It looks like this is a year that India started to focus heavily on self-reliance and local production in the technology industry. Followed by banning a bunch of apps, the country announced that they are planning to launch a local app store to rival Apple's App Store and Google Play Store. From the current situation, it looks like they have started to shift their focus to the physical tech products as well.
Since the end of October, a few hundred users have taken yo Apple's forums to report that their iPhone 12 (with reports seemingly covering all fourmodels) drops the cellular connection on 5G and 4G networks. This seems to be happening more often with Verizon and AT&T users but T-Mobile clients experience the issue too.
A separate Reddit thread has been created just for this and owners of iPhone 12 say that this happens mostly while they are traveling by car. The workaround, for now, is to turn on the airplane mode on and off again. One of the commenters said that he was able to reach one of the PR execs and he confirmed that Apple is aware of the issue and is currently investigating. Perhaps a fix is on its way.
iPhone 12 series more yellow compared to previous cuz blue light = blue and white color... that’s why apple make screen more yellow to compensate the smaller battery of iPhone 12 series
This is oled color power consumption... not sure about lcd

iPhone SE 2021, showing a device with a design similar to the iPhone 12 mini. It's suggested that the phone will have a display with very thin bezels, a punch-hole camera, and no TouchID button. As you may have noticed, that's a radical change from the design of the iPhone SE 2020. But if you consider how Apple is cutting back production volume for the iPhone 12 mini, it's not unusual if the company decides to use the iPhone SE 2021 as a sort of replacement.
damn just broke my hoda sapphire screen protector, facedrop from my bed to the tile 1 week old only sad
I just use cheap matte screen protector and no scratches at all compared to clear one which scratches easily . I think it’s the matte surface that prevent scratches but not the sapphire ... not sure is it 100% sapphire or just a scam...
Kuo: 2022 iPhone Pro model to come with punch-hole selfie camera, iPhone SE 5G coming. A new report from long-time Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of TF International Securities cites Apple supply chain sources regarding two changes to Apple’s 2022 lineups of iPhones. Kuo is expecting that that the successor to this year’s iPhone Pro model next year may ditch the notch and use a punch-hole camera cut-out in its display. https://www.gsmarena.com/kuo_2022_iphone_pr...-news-48000.php attw No more ugly notch on next year's iphone Pro models...finally
Seem like they cancel se plan and make it to pro model instead with under display fingerprint
Frustrated by the continuing US sanctions, the Chinese tech giant has been trying to bolster and diversify its revenue streams. Huawei said it will be charging a “reasonable” royalty rate of up to US$2.50 (~RM10.29) for every phone that uses its 5G technology.
That US$2.50 cap might seem relatively modest compared to those of competitors. CNBC noted that Nokia caps its rate at €3 (~RM14.70) per device, while Ericsson charges from US$2.50 to US$5 (~RM20.59) per device.
For further comparison, chipmaker Qualcomm demanded US$7.50 (~RM30.88) from Apple for every iPhone, causing a feud between the tech giants, Bloomberg said. The companies finally made peace in 2019.
Huawei expects to pull in about US$1.2 billion (~RM4.9 billion) to US$1.3 billion (~RM5.4 billion) in revenue from patent licensing between 2019 and 2021. Obviously, those figures are likely to grow as the transition to 5G begins across the world.
Also, it’s plausible that Huawei is retaliating for a recent US move to further restrict component supplies for Huawei’s 5G devices. Washington, under Trump and now Biden, has often emphasised the need to protect American technology from Chinese firms.
Now, Huawei may be eager to publicly assert and leverage the dependence of others, especially in the West, on its technologies. In other words, it’s a game of tit for tat.
Ming-Chi Kuo, however, the Pro and Pro Max will get 120 Hz displays, the vanilla 12 and the 12 mini will likely have to stick with 60 Hz for another year. Also, the Pro models may have punch holes instead of notches.
