Tempting but I will hold off Nomad cases until Magsafe is available. Now all my cases MUST have Magsafe.

Yup for sure, but Nomad is also bulkier.

I’ve owned the past 2 iterations of Nomad cases and they were always my favorite, the side bumpers are thicker too. But the leather they are using is Horween leather, abit rougher compared to Apple’s.

The 2 scenarios are the perfect scenarios for wireless charging.

As a single-charge daily person, I only charge it before I heard to bed, and remove it from the charger by 2.30am. Every time I do this, my phone is always 100% and ready for the next day. I don’t like charging my phone in between the day.

MagSafe’s pretty niffy so far, when you wake up in the middle of the night and remove it from the charger, way easier than trying to unplug the cable from the port.

Wire charging is such a table clutter, for me personally. Unfortunately the MagSafe charger is also another clutter, but it looks more presentable than a cable dangling on the table. I’m just OCD with messy tables.

Yes wireless charging does make your phone warmer, hence it is recommended to do so in an AC room. In terms of battery wise, I think it will be more or less the same, just make sure that it’s a MFI certified charger then you’re good to go.


It’s not a gimmick, it’s more or less addressing the issues with most Qi chargers, which is placement. Unless you have a charger with AIRA (Nomad Base Station Pro), you will often miss out on the ‘sweet’ charging spot when using conventional wireless chargers.

I wouldn’t say that Magsafe is the best wireless charger, it’s not even ‘wireless’ to begin with, but it’s one of the few 1st party Apple products available in the market. Technology is still new, perhaps later we will see OEMs start to develop Magsafe into their repertoire and we will be blessed with a plethora of Magsafe certified chargers, hopefully way better than Apple’s.

Looking forward to Nomad’s update, was so keen on getting the Base Station Pro, then Magsafe happened.

I’m actually using Apple Music, Spotify and Tidal all at once.

Most of the time I’m on Spotify. I hate that Apple Music’s playlist always play the censored version of the songs despite my explicit filter is off. Annoying.

Always the case with female buyer / seller.

Husband or boyfriend buy on behalf. Once I had this girl who bought a console from me, she was only 17? She took the train alone, so I offered her a ride home instead. Poor thing.

The beauty of Spotify lies on their repertoire of podcasts and also the playlist, which Apple Music is still very far from. But in terms of UI / UX, Apple Music is pretty neat. Tidal’s Master quality is pretty decent, but their 360 Reality Audio suck for me.

Pretty sure Tidal can’t survive without promos now. 29.90/monthly for Hi-Fi is pretty steep.

I’m planning to go with Baltic Blue as well, since my Wallet will be Saddle Brown. Need some contrast.

Finally this arrived.

Overall quality is good, leather smells good, leather is soft to touch and has really nice stitching. The Wallet goes well with the Silicone case, has a good grip and doesn’t fall off easily at all.

I can fit around 3 cards, 1 Driver’s license, 1 IC, and 1 Debit card. Perfect for heading out for a quick grab / dapao food.

Graphite has an evergreen look and feel, Pacific Blue is unique but ages quickly.

The Magsafe wallet is seriously pretty nifty, I absolutely love it. Basically just head out to the mall without a wallet, one free pocket with a skin tight jeans is a blessing 🤣

I got the Saddle Brown - need some contrast.

You can keep cash without any cards inside. The cash needs to be folded well otherwise it will be ‘bloated’. I’d suggest against it because you don’t wanna crease that nice smelling French leather lol.

Christmas is coming, self reward for surviving the year.

We live in the era of modern tech my pren, QR pay, e-Wallets are everywhere, even hawkers are now taking TNG.

I have 3 cards, IC, DL and Debit card. Unless I need to make a big purchase, I’m keeping my wallet at home. You can always carry some emergency cash using money clips, still smaller than a wallet.

Its a good accessory for your phone, not really a need lol.

Why not both? I use my XM4s at stagnant places like work, leisure, cafe etc. AirPods Pros mostly for mobility, small enough to fit most pockets. Can’t connect AirPods to most non-Apple devices, so its solely based on your usage.

Headphones are bulky and storage is a pain when traveling, AirPods are the total opposite.

Yeah I always have issues connecting to my work laptop on Windows, connection kept breaking. Also I can’t connect to my console so I just use 3.5mm instead

Haha yeah I guess for some manufacturers it works, but its subjective I guess. Apple just like to close their environment to other manufacturers.

Easier, just connect to your phone / iPad when working. The auto pause when removed from ear is godsend.
