I just bought a 2nd hand 12pm 256GB with 96% battery health. Fantastic phone. Avoid non pro iphones. They are just not worth the money.

Er, sometimes 2 bar, sometimes 4 bar. Depends on area. I am on celcom and using 5G

Maybe due to the instability of network.

Having some problem with my 12pm
When i charging my phone, the battery level stuck at 38% and not charging any more
I have to unplug and plug back to the phone to get it start charging again
Happened few times

Anyone know what causes this?

did you use the phone during charge?
if the phone detect that the phone temp is high it will automatically hold charge until phone drop to normal temp

Hey everyone, this is my first post here in LYN!

So my iPhone XS Max died earlier this month and after looking around at the three version of the 5G-enabled iPhones, I decided on the 12 Pro Max… Got this one for less than RM4k, a 512GB model which was never sold and only used as demo set, which means that I am getting a virtually new phone with no prior owner and 100% battery quality!

Seems like a great choice so far, the screen is crisp and clear plus the fast processor makes playing memory-intensive games like Call of Duty a breeze… Not to mention the excellent camera which is easily the best I’ve seen on any iPhone I have used before - with proof being this clear pix of the George Town skyline taken while the car is being driven, on the Penang Bridge!

Battery is at a perfect 100% - the iPhone sure is in excellent shape!

After 2 years and 3 months, my battery finally require replacement as the battery health degrade to 77%

everyday about two full charge

same case as me then.
However I changed my battery before the warranty ended back in July 2022.
Currently battery health is already 84%

uwah.. that's some serious degradation.

i still remembered back then when the battery health percentage of mine drop rather rapidly, from 100% to about 88% in a short period of 1 year+ but after an iOS update (cannot recall which version), now the battery health percentage stayed at 84%

same goes to me.. now stayed 84%. hopefully it stay until iphone 15 lol

until the launch of iPhone 15 is confirmed no problem - their "planned obsolescence" will most probably set in after iPhone 15.

i'm not even sure that the health battery percentage is actually accurate or is just a "feel good" factor from Apple to let users know that their device is in "good hands", probably placebo to increase customer satisfaction ratings but then again, i don't have a great expectations for the battery pack in the iPhone 12 Pro to hold up well since it already had a bad reputation from the get go.

because mine is also 84%, and that is with the battery recently replaced back in July 2022.

Mine reached at 75% after 29 months of usage, but i am planning to sell my phone then upgrade to another new iphone.

if you were me, would you bothered to change the battery first before selling, or just selling as it is.
