Anybody here using e-sim for iPhone 12 pro max? My concern is:

E-Sim, will it have a different coverage compared to physical Sim?

E-Sim, will it drain the battery fast?

I am on DiGi, still using physical SIM, planning to try.
*
Using Celcom for physical and Digi on eSIM. Coverage seems the same and battery doesn't drain, well I start using from the first day I got my iPhone, so I cannot really validate if there is any difference. That said, my battery life is still great.

Technically physical or e-sim shouldn’t make any difference.

Question.. once you have e-sim. When you switch phones, can the same e-sim registration details be used? Or you need to request new credentials?
*
Digi told me it is different and need to request again, so not sure how true is that. smile.gif

this should be new feature in iOS, previously when I started use maxis eSIM in my Xs when they launched around Feb 2019, cannot be done, need request a new one
*
Good tips, I can try next time. So, have you tried yourself?

I'm using Magsafe wireless charger daily too but my battery health has dropped to 99% now sad.gif

while my friends still remain 100% like yours. They use cable to charge only
*
I'm still at 100% and using MagSafe charger (fake one laugh.gif but works like ori).

I just wish to find out why my phone dropped to 99% while other people still remain 100%.
Initially i thought it was due to MagSafe Wireless charger, but you and Fruitie are using magsafe wireless charger too while still maintaining 100% !

So normally at what percentage you start to charge your phone?
Good to heard that:P
*
I usually charge at around 20 plus-30%.

Am I the only who feels iPhone actually throttles WiFi 2.4GHz speed? It’s barely 15Mbps while my laptop gets 80Mbps, no issue for 5GHz though. Any fix for it?

Same here, on 2.4GHz, I am getting about 20% of 5GHz speed...

Top - 2.4GHz
Bottom - 5GHz

2.4GHz is slower than 5GHz but if my other devices are OK, then something is wrong with the iPhone.

However, I reset network settings and seems fixed a bit. Speed also increased now.

Mind to pm or share me the link of where you bought it sis fruitie?
Thinking of getting a charging stand or just a MagSafe to use when working in front of computer (don’t need to pick up the phone so often)
*
I got from this seller: https://shopee.com.my/product/211707851/646...60-1615125569.9

Thanks!
How is the experience so far? Comparable to Ori?
How about the magnet, is it strong enough like ori? tongue.gif
*
I have not used the original before but so far I'm happy with it and the magnet is also strong.

Maybe try the "Display Zoom" mode under "Display & Brightness"?

What’s the advantages of using esim?

Useful if you have more than one SIM and need to use them on your iPhone.

Though AirPods are the best for iOS devices, I'm using AirPods Pro and no regret but I do have issue sometimes when connecting to my Windows laptop. It will fail when I need to speak in conference calls, back to wired earphones..

Good to know about this! I was actually considering putting the AirPods pro on my to-buy gadgets list.
*
Don't use my experience as benchmark though. I do see a lot of my colleagues are using them during conference calls and I don't hear issue from them.
Maybe it is just my laptop or my own issue. laugh.gif I'm using Lenovo X1 Carbon, not sure if it is the Bluetooth issue.

Any chance to check your Bluetooth version?
*
No idea how to check but I may install new drivers later if there is any updated version.

Not to say it fails all the time, it did fail few times when I needed it the most. The worst thing is my audio settings is also affected, auto muted and cannot be turned on back until I restarted the laptop. laugh.gif

Oh that issue, yeah Windows does that sometimes.
Not sure what's the issue too but restart would be able to get it fixed.
I do notice sometimes disabling/enabling back the Bluetooth connection on Windows could fix it too.
Another side of thing could be, the earphone/headphone chips/software and compatibilities already.
*
Oh, so not really AirPods Pro issue then.

Haven't had a pair to test, yet. So that's my experience with laptops.
I wonder how does it fair for Airpods working with Macbooks? Would they be as seamless as what I read online?
I read it would be super easy to swing the calls or usage between devices as long as they are tied to the same Apple ID
*
Yes, it’s easy to switch devices though I don’t have a Mac/MacBooks.
Anyway, AirPods Pro gives real seamless experience with iDevices. No setup is required. I got it cheaper than retail price so I’m more than happy.

I bought mine last month for RM759 during sale from this legit seller of Lazada and it is authentic apple product with valid 1 year official warranty.
*
Yeah, there are many legit sellers, just need to check around. I got mine at RM 749, with SIRIM or MCMC sticker (I forgot which one) and managed to register Apple warranty. Happy with the purchase. biggrin.gif
