Hi,
Would like to get your comments and recommendations for 175/65R14 or 185/60R14 sized tyre priced under RM150/pc. High speed cornering and wet handling are top priorities. Was considering SP Sport J5, but read about the tyre's tendency to roll under hard cornering due to soft sidewall. Currently using some offbrand tires from previous owner. Can tackle Karak at spirited pace, but after 30k the wet handling got worse as the sipes wear down. Got aquaplaning even at 60-70kmh. With rainy season starting at east coast, I don't want to take any chances.
Thanks in advance!

My Myvi just changed from Silverstone NS800 to Viking CT6 this morning. RM102, lowest in town. https://shopee.com.my/product/106526447/6818513392I dunno la what performance whatever as i am always a Silverstone (death trap) user all these while. Buying the Viking is also because of its lowest price. But one thing i noticed is the Viking has slightly wider water channels than Silverstone. Answer is simple: NONE! You need to go up to 15' size and therefore up your budget to at least rm200.

QUOTE(tomo7433 @ Nov 24 2020, 08:23 PM) What would you recommend for 15" under RM250? Michelin PS3 so far is still the best all rounder high performance tires for 15', good in the dry and excellent in the wet. The new Potenza RE004 should be better in the dry but not sure if as good in the wet (RE003 was not as good in the wet) and it will not last as long. These 2 are the top 2 high performance tires for 15'.
