I just want a further feedback from newspeed buyers. His items were at very tempting prices in lelong.com.

Has anybody faces any problem with this person before?

ask if he will provide valid manufacturer warranty card, not verbally warranty.

check his record, last time he sells factory recond as new.
i dont trust him, at least the one at a very cheap that start at rm1.

I am seriously thinking to buy a prosumer from him..

There're some complaints that he's selling recond units as new.

Some buyers received their purchase (suppose to be new) with scratches here & there.

Anyway, the source where Newspeed got the stocks from are never revealed.

i think someone explained he get all those goods frm factory in a bulk, some are refurbished but with valid warranty..?

i need to know about refusbished item. ok, it is not new, but does the warranty REALLY valid?

The arguments in the lelong forum is long, thus i need to read them all first before making any judgement. Yeah, it is not fair to blame newspeed just because one/ two dissatisfaction(s)

i bought a hybrid camera frm him actually, ordered frm him coz cannot find one in local market at that moment. b4 i confirm place order, i reiterated to him i want a brand new set + valid factory warranty, and it delivered as promised; the camera indeed looks new, no finger print, no scratch, fresh smell and everything is in good packing. however, the price is cheaper a little bit only (~15%) compare to market price, if the price is ridiculously cheap (say 30 to 50% cheaper), i doubt that is brand new, it simplt doesn't make sense for me.

i got a crash on fz-8 and it seems no one in the market can challenge his price. The lowest price that quoted by other buyer is rm120 more than newspeed's price. Yeah, rm120 is a lot for me as I can get myself a good 2gb sd card with that amount.

What is your opinion? Say it like this. i mail him and ask about all the details. Insist him on NEW item and a REAL one year warranty. If he say yes, then in your opinion, is it a worth buy?

And yeah, is there a possibility that the 1-year warranty is not available in Malaysia? Reading through the lelong forum makes me think that he got all his cameras overseas.

frankly speaking, i bought frm him coz i couldn't get the model i want in the market at that time... for just a mere rm100+ lesser, definitely i would buy frm local store, the rm100+ more is worth for your peace of mind + buyoff the condition + warranty claim + discounted bundled accessories like sd, tripod, bag & etc

I noticed tat his camera only carries 7 days - 1 mth wrty. I doubt its factory wrty. But the price is really tempting.

Probably grey set, and the short warranty probably he has lack of commitment for RMA and stuffs.

But some of his items do have 1 yr manufacturer wrty. Those bidding style from RM1 is normally 7 - 30 days wrty only.

last saturday went to newspeed store at Sunway Giza Mall. looking for EOS 650D. found out about their store from lelong website. price is rm2799. cheapest in lelong.

later found out the model they are selling is the Japan import version (Kiss X6i) and only comes with 1 year store warranty.

on sunday, i when to Foto Flash, KLCC. They sell it for RM2850. Just slightly higher but at least it comes with 1 year local Canon warranty.

for RM 50 difference, better just go for the one with Canon warranty.

and why is the 650D you saw so expensive?

Hi, sorry i forgot to mention the model I'm looking is not the standard 18-55 lens kit. its the 18-135 lens kit.
