I am planning to get a 8bar 10litre oiless air compressor for home.
Which brand is reliable and under RM400 budget?

Bought Artix 3. Waiting to arrive. Hopefully the tank don't corrode inside by the time it arrives.

Got my Artix compressor. The tank got exterior cracks, is it still safe to use? Or should I return it back? I bought from Indonesia.

I heard some cases that the tank exploded. So I am a bit concern here...

I want to share something to you guys here, don't use air compressor at home!
Mine just exploded this morning when I turn it on! Luckily, i placed the compressor inside store room, so only it exploded inside and cause a big hole on the wall. Nobody is injured.

Air compressor is a ticking bomb, I must say. All DIYers, I advise not to have one at home.

No, i got it few days already and been using it quite frequently, mostly doing repainting my room and dusting out furnitures.
But before that, I noticed got few cracks on the tank, but I didn't bother until this morning, it exploded.

Anything with high pressure and cylinder crack, must not be used at all. Haven't you read recent case of fire extinguisher exploded that killed a person?

I didn't know about the danger of air compressor....
I regret buying air compressor...lesson learnt.

Is respraying the wall better than roller brush ?

I use the spray gun for drawing on the wall.

Don't buy the cheap wan la. The tank wall is thin and no quality.

I have a compressor for 30yrs. But small silent type which uses for modeling. Pressure not more than 5bar. Usually only use like 1.5bar
