Recently there's alot of members offering "part-time" jobs and no specific details but just ask whoever interested to PM/email him/her for more details.

And sure enough alot members will post in the thread like "PM sent pls check" or "PM me more details"....
I've checkout 2 threads yesterday and the reply in PM i got is one job for creditcard application and another is referral link to www.onlineadvertisingkiller.com

Obviously this is a way to abuse the forum rules infact two rules infringement that i can currently think of..
1. Indirect bumping
2. Referral link

Seems like there's no specific mod assigned to mod the Classified Section, do we need one?

Hmm, thanks for highlighting this. While we did notice some job postings with very little/no information apart from "please PM for more details", we did not realize that some of these included referral links and such.

We will soon clamp down on these postings, and have more strict moderation at Jobs Enlistment to deter dummy and scam postings.

Its becoz the referral link was given in the PM reply...not on the thread itself.

Furthermore, I suspect there are bots posting there too.

At the moment, the only way users can help out in this is by using the report function. As moderators cannot keep an eye on so many sections, using the report function can give a lot of help.

Why not straight post it here? Because still need to show screen shot right?

Classifieds section is open to all moderators so simply report the posts and we can deal with it.

But look at it this way by view of another person: perhaps it should have been stickied instead of locked?

But yeah, by locking it, it kind of preventing people from expressing their frustration on the whole scams and scam-lovers in that section.
Even before the lock, there are people posting there already.
