Me too feel the same way when i tested dt880... got compared it with k701, dt770 and dt990 too.
And gotten myself the dt880. LOL

But, new unit of dt880 sounds very harsh at 1st. Haha...
Require good source and a lot of head time (burning) for it to sound good.

You must feed it with Good Good Quality Musics for it to Sing, say No to Mp3.
Are you testing it with Tube Amp at Jaben??? If not, then you might want to give it a try.

Bro, try to enjoy with what you have 1st.
Slowly, got budget only upgrade.

Makes listening to music an enjoyment, not suffering for ugprade.
If you keep thinking for upgrades, you will not able to really enjoy the songs, you may just end up enjoying your gear.
