I recently he went air cond shopping. SA tried to sell me midea. Cheaper than the rest.

But I continued my search for Mitsubishi evo 8.

Now york already bought by chinese air cond manufacturer

So is toshiba which is own by midea lel

panasonic, sharp, daikin, mitsubishi.....
midea is only cheaper by 100 or 200, depending on how greedy the salesman.

If you think the risk is worth the 200, then go ahead.

York is now under Johnson Controls

Daikin is now under GA which previously managed the old York, which also means the famous Cooling King tech belongs to Daikin

In other words York nowadays suck big balls

Even Midea is 10x better than York now

Believe it or not it's up to u lol.

Can't remember I've changed to Pana after renovation a few yrs ago... Not as cold as acson even though temp was set the same. Cooling time defibately not as fast as well, but it's quite noisy >50db

bought midea to use it at my previous site office, and abused it by opening 24 hrs, still okay just a little bit noise and rattle sound
