check this page out, that's the darthbeyer in malaysia.
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/861420/+220
it appear several times in my room on my private gathering.
as well as during end of 2008, that beyer was burnt due to some improper designed china dac+amp, so one side voice coil is gone. total death.
and i perform a driver transplant of the beyer.
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/505856/+420

and recently (last 2 months) that darthbeyer was send to me due to some problem with the sleeve of cable, as well as the owner hope me to reduce half the amount of the bass..
and... it's really like stuff 2 X 12" subwoofer into your ear...
the bass extension seems to overlapping with each other. lol

i had once heard "newer" version of darthbeyer, and imho that improved a lot from the dt770 version i repaired.
*
You have a dt770 right? Plan to invent any mod onit?

haha
my dt770 is always been a test unit.
it's opened again and again. or use to show people in private gathering, about structure of headphones... ect. ect..
i think i won't do any mod on it..
shall anyone have spare money to mod Dt770. i will really suggest that save the money up and opt for dt880 or dt990. better choice.
*
my next will be a hd650, really regret upgrade too early, shouldn't sold my dt440 so early. sad.gif

tested @faezfarhan's TTD with the DT770, i must say i has good synergy with the cans but it needs to be really warm to show its potential. it made the bass lesser but tighter and mids really sing with the tubes. i supposed its a hybrid amp eh?
*
It made the bass lesser than tighter? mhmm, sounds good, me only using my dt770 with DZero, good enough already tongue.gif

QUOTE(noobandroid @ Dec 8 2011, 08:42 PM)
i also eager to know, but i guess it doesnt
*
Some people says higher volume faster burn in, for me I dare not put high volume, who knows later driver rosak. I normally just put at my listening level.

i kinda like the Dzero too., consider the price and form factor.
i not yet try the sound yet. but the shape is so sexy.
if it sound good. maybe i buy one, and use double sided tape stick it on my notebook monitor screen... AHAHAHA
*
For this price, I think it's really worth it. And whoa, stick to your monitor's back? As I recalled you did put your wireless mouse there right? haha.

we're both in the same boat, and now funding for an amp. sigh. i cant get 100% out of my dt770
*
I now only use DZero, cause no decent DAC, but quite satisfied with DT770, first time listen such detailed sound, those details in bass also can get thumbup.gif

comparing DT770 and M50. M50 tend to give "cleaner" bass which is good for dubstep and alike. And yes it not sharp at all. Pretty much pleasant to listen too personally biggrin.gif

cleaner - no distortion during the execution of heavy bass during playback
*
Mine doesn't gives any distortion while heavy bass is played. hmm.gif
At first I don't like the heavy bass of DT770, but after some time, I find out that DT770's bass is not that bad, bass boomy, it humms well in movies, but it does not cover any details and distort, instead, in musics, I can get alot of bass detail that I had never listen before.

most people think its a myth or a placebo effect but for my ears it does make a difference since burning in is actually loosening up the tight drivers. when i first got my MS1 i was quite shocked the quality wasnt what i expected to be. after 10-20 hours or so it starts to show its potential and beauty
*
I heard some headphones after 3000 hours still got change. Don't know it's true or not.
