guys,

should I get Dt880 or DT770 ? What's with all the 'pro' editions? I plan to use it with a tube amp from UberMuzik or maybe a Centrance Dacport

thanks!

the pro and non pro things I think is the cable difference if im not wrong. and the sound is just too little to notice.

DT770 is closed back while DT880 semi open..

have you ever audit them ?

in terms of musicality wise, i prefer dt880 more. the mid sounds more sweeter.

I've tried DT770. Way too bassy for my liking. Definitely prefer the dt880.

So you pretty answered yourself already ? laugh.gif

DT770 is more suitable for monitoring the details,
anyway listening to every single detail in every song is rather boring,

just enjoy what u listen and what u have laugh.gif

but honestly speaking, i've never heard of one headphone below RM1500 that can beat the soundstage of the AD700's, though way too airy for my liking. Maybe the AD900 haha.

AD700 doesn't sound full enough like ad900 tongue.gif
