I think I've burned in my DT880 long enough, and weirdly I seem to be enjoying pairing it with GoVibe Peak rather than my Maverick D1. It was not like this before. Now I'm not sure if I want to sell the GoVibe Peak and seem to have slight buyer remorse with the D1. I hate this feeling. sad.gif

Anyways to all DT880 user, what kind of amp you guys using? I might be in the market for a new one.

might be because of the opamp that being used on maverick D1 isnt that great for beyers compared to govibe peak.

also don't use your current audio rig picture on /g/.Somebody will notice about it later on tongue.gif

With the D1 the bass seems more fluid and everything sounds more musical, with the Peak everything sounds raw with finer treble. Still can't decide which I prefer more. hmm.gif

EDIT: After further listening, I find that I prefer the D1 more. DT880 suffers from recessed mids and D1 improves it somewhat, not so with Peak.

There is nothing high end or entry. The most important is enjoy your music, not the equipment.

Actually you can start listen songs with it. Then you can differentiate the difference before and after burn-in.

Just let it run on normal songs should be no problem also, the point is to let the diaphragms run to let it move more freely. Some have big difference and some the difference is just minor, not sure about DT231 pro.
