nice movie.
nothing extraordinary.
effects were pretty good.
storyline is very linear and extremely predictable.

QUOTE(Raikkonen @ Nov 16 2020, 11:00 AM) I watched many natural disasters movies. actually this movie makes it very grounded and realistic. But somehow this one kind of hits me. I dunno whether I'd rather died long before this happens or decided to lived through it Lived underground for months till it all resided. In the final moments of the movie when the kid mentioned 'flashes' till the end of the movie...I shed a little tear it's almost like a precise scenario of what would happen if it does happen. no special heroics like armageddon or geostorm or whatever not. only thing is the survivors got out pretty easy. i would have thought the impact would be more severe than just dust settling in 9 months. the other contention was what were the primary driving factor for the family to seek refuge. rather than spending their last precious hours with each other and the father, they decided not to give up to pursue a what if we can make it scenario? guess a lot of families would have opted to savour the last few hours.
