There are about 30m population in this country and if need 2 shots for vaccination, there will be a market for 60m shot. Assume RM 100/shot, potential revenue is RM 6 bn.

How much vaccine repackaging and distribution could make? At most 30% or RM 1.8 bn gp.

Pharma and Dpharma would be in the picture too.
Once vaccine is approved, these counters will rocket.

Funny that you talked about vaccine counters but left out the two biggest players in the market

Pharma and Dpharma are the only 2 companies approved by MOH. The rest are loss-making counters frying mee goreng, nasi goreng, that ride on vaccine news & rumors.

I already took profits with Pharma & Dpharma sometimes ago, now don't dare to touch them due to high PE(50+ for Dpharma already).

IMHO, I will have a better chance targeting Genting and AirAsia.

I have yet to see Dpharma and Pharma having any sorts of MOU or agreements with vaccine manufacturers.
At most is they are identified by Goverment to be able to do filling and eventual distribution. Only Pharma has the facilities. Not sure of Dpharma.

But of course, they will be involved as they are the biggest suppliers to MOH.

Or did I miss out anything?

be on red alert for news of MOU/agreements with, or any menteli talk linking xyz cos. to any of the phase 3 candidates.

every bit of news liking any of these cos. to any counter can result in limit up - bursa will be hot and busy. tongue.gif

More likely Pharma and Dpharma would be given the main contract to supply...

Must help Bumi/GLIC lorh @ crony...

Others might get sub contract job from those 2 company... Which profit margin is much lower in the end......

But there's problem with vaccine storage...

Needed like -70 degree like that... Which many places don't have...

So which manufacturer/players benefit from this?
Who have the storage facility ready 🤔

One more is KGB , kenanga did a report on their dry ice which most likely be used as well. And look at Tasco , one of a few cold chain logistic providers

i think the mRNA vaccines will be too costly for here... malaysia is quite broke, no?

the first batches, good or not, have been pretty much booked by the rich countries.

here, maybe tycoons and politicians can afford them.

might be better looking out for "traditional" protein based ones... from astrazeneca, china, russia, india.

then again, if we aren't talking real vaccine performance but just bursa gorengable opportunities, anything goes! biggrin.gif

just need to wait which initiator, politician and social media will make that spark.

Share goreng is like money game, knowing is unsustainable and yet still have many willing to bet.
